Roles and Responsibilities

IDEAL CANDIDATE

- 3+ Years experience in C, C++ or Python based Application Development
- Experience in Computer Vision
- Experience in real-time image processing pipelines preferred

TEAM

You would be working with a team of software developers, embedded systems developers, machine design engineers and electrical engineers. Teamwork is a very important facet, and any successful candidate would need to demonstrate high capability in being an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team, working towards complex milestones in a challenging environment.


ROLE:

The role will involve the use of the latest computer vision and machine learning methods, both on the CPU and the GPU, defining an optimal balance between classic computer vision and deep learning, tuned towards real-time use in the inspection of products on pharmaceutical and FMCG manufacturing lines

On an immediate basis, a successful candidate would expect to work on the following technologies in the first year of employment:


Object detection using deep learning methods

Object classification using classical computer vision and occasionally deep learning.

Object tracking.

Hardware interfacing with motors, solenoids, actuators, cameras, lights and sensors.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

The setting would be a lab/industrial building with access to various machines for research, development and testing (no cushy bean bags and playstations). We're here to make a positive difference to the industry, and the candidate must share this passion. There may be room for a hybrid arrangement, with up to 2 days working from home - this is dependent on initial assessment of the candidate’s ability to work independently.


TRAVEL


Occasional travel (30 days per year on average) can be expected to customer sites around the world, and to our offices in the UK, Netherlands and USA.


LOCATION : Bangalore


SALARY : 8 - 24 LPA (based on candidate's competency and skills)
